Olympus PEN EP-3 Camera Launch Date and Price Announced

Olympus PEN Ep3
Olympus PEN Ep3
Since then, Olympus has released a few different iterations but failed to quell the camera’s short comings, that is until now. If you recall, the Olympus  PEN E-P1 had a few major caveats when it launched.

First off, they’ve finally built-in in a pop up flash.  All previous PEN cameras required you to buy a separate flash, which mounted onto the camera’s hot shoe.  Not ideal for the on go photos and practically negated its use time by as much as 50% (night vs day).

Olympus says they’ve also improved the auto focus time, enough to boast the the “World’s Fastest AF** speed” – we assume the “**” means in its class.  ISO has been increased to 12,800 and full HD movies can now be recorded with 16-bit CD quality sound.  There are also a variety of exposure options that you can work through depending on your fancy as well as a 3D mode, which requires to shoot and slowly pan across whatever image you’re shooting.

Under the hood is a 12.3 megapixel sensor and a new processing chip called TruePic VI.  On the back of the camera is a 3-inch OLED touchscreen that rocks a 614k dot resolution.  You can touch to focus like the iPhone and administer all your settings, but Olympus says they haven’t done away with the manual buttons, just in case you’re wondering.

When the camera ships this August for $900, you’ll be able to choose between two lenses; the Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm II R ƒ3.5/5.6 zoom or the Zuiko Digital ED 17mm ƒ2.8 prime.

Mission Impossible 4, Ghost Protocol Trailer Live (video)

MI4 Trailer
MI4 Trailer

Here's a The first Mission Impossible movie rocked, the second sucked (thanks to the mask on/off BS) and third one was actually pretty decent.  Now, Tom and company are back for the fourth installment of the series and yesterday the first official trailer for the flick launched.  Mission Impossible 4, Ghost Protocol, positions Cruise and his team as the good/bad guys trying to clear their name – at least that’s what we could suss out from the rather disjointed trailer pasted below.  As usual, the movie is chalk full of gadgets, including a pair of gloves that enable “Ethan” to scale an all glass building, and a Microsoft Touch Surface.  We’re sure there will be plenty more, just please, no mask sequences.  It looks like Ving Rhames has been left out of this one, which is too bad, because nothing beats his baritone voice and cool cat demeanor.

Movie Pass: Unlimited Movie Theater Tickets for $50 a Month

Movie Pass
Movie Pass
When the company launched it was met with skepticism and apprehension.  For as little as $9.99 a month you can rent an unlimited amount of DVDs from Netflix.  But after years of fighting the big boys, such as Blockbuster, they’ve emerged the winner.  Now a company called Movie Pass is looking to enter the space, but instead of offering an unlimited amount of DVD rentals, they want you to pay $50 a month to watch as many movies as you’d like in the movie theater.

Over 100 theaters are currently participating
, but from what we understand the beta program has kicked off in San Francisco.  Users simply sign up on their website and then using an accompanying iPhone or Android app, present a reservation code to the movie clerk.  Seats and tickets can be reserved online, and Movie Pass is even promising discounts on the popcorn, access to advanced screenings in addition to restaurant vouchers, though we’re not sure how the latter works.

Since movie theaters often make their profits on concessions, it stands to reason that these movie goers could be more profitable than an average attendee.  Though if you attend the theater on a regular basis you’ll probably skip the popcorn and soda since it’s novelty factor will wear off quickly.

On average today’s movie theater tickets cost about $12.  So 4 visits a month to the theater could pay for Movie Pass.  However, that means attending the theater more than once a week, something most busy people don’t have time to do, hence why theaters are most busy on weekends.  We’ve heard that special movies, such as those presented in 3D and Imax, will include an additional surcharge per viewing, though that info isn’t on their website.

Sony reveals next-gen NEX

With compact system cameras (CSC) fast becoming the snapper of choice among the photo enthusiasts, the race is on to make the smallest to broaden their appeal still further. Sony’s NEX range of APS-C compacts has always been dinky, but the latest addition, the NEX-C3 rounds off the boxy look of its predecessors with its polycarbonate body.

At 109.6 x 60 x 33mm, it slims down too, so much so that Sony not only claims it’s the smallest interchangeable lens camera out there, but also the lightest.

Sony's NEX-C3 and the HVL-F20S flash
The latter assertion comes with a strategically placed asterisk appearing in the blurb. With a body-only weight of 225g, apparently, it’s the lightest compared to other lens swapping APS-C compacts, which, of course, leaves out any competing Micro Four Thirds models – the smaller sensor interchangeable lens cameras that Olympus or Panasonic produce.

While the camera may have shrunk, the 16.2Mp APS-C Exmor sensor trumps the 14.2Mp offered by the NEX-5 and NEX-3. Video capture is MPEG4 720p which is akin to the NEX-3 and also suggests a NEX-C5 is in the pipeline given the NEX-5 offers AVCHD 1080i recording. Full details of the NEX-C3 spec can be found on Sony’s web site here.

The gimmicks are in evidence too
, with Picture Effect, which enables stills and video capture use with a range of creative filters. Sony will also make available a firmware update (v. 04) which provides the Picture Effect functions for current NEX models, with improved manual focusing too, available on 20 June.

Alpha e-mount SEL30M35 30mm macro lens
The accessory count is also increasing with the SEL30M35, 30mm f3.5 macro lens joining the NEX Alpha e-mount optics arsenal. There’s also a new flash gun coming, the HVL-F20S with a tilting head that draws power from the NEX camera. Cases are also being produced to accommodate the new shape when all these NEX additions appear in August.

Pentax Q takes mini system camera crown

Not long after Sony announced the NEX-C3, Panasonic revealed its Lumix DMC-GF3, as the two tech giants slugged it out to take the title for world’s smallest interchangeable lens camera.

And just when you thought the dust had settled on that particular crown, along comes the Pentax Q which those with long memories may see as a return to form along the lines of the Pentax System 10 SLR 110 film camera.

The Pentax Q not only lays claim to being the 'world’s smallest' compact system camera (CSC), its 12.4Mp, 1/2.3in CMOS sensor is a good deal smaller than the APS-C and micro four thirds formats on the Sony and Panasonic, respectively. Even so, the Pentax Q shoots in both RAW and JPG formats, captures 1080p video and includes a micro HDMI output.

Face on, its only marginally bigger than a credit card, but round the back it has room for a 3in, 460k dot screen. The magnesium alloy body ensures that, despite its size, this ultra compact system camera will take the knocks.

Looking slightly vulnerable though, is its levered pop-up flash arrangement. The camera also features a hotshoe to broaden the range of lighting options. This also holds the O-VF1 viewfinder option.

The Q system kit will feature a standard f1.9, 8.5mm lens (equivalent to 47mm on a 35mm camera). However, Pentax has plans to offer five Q-mount lenses when the camera is released in September 2011.

Apart from the prime 47mm standard lens there will be a 27.5 - 83mm zoom, a fish-eye (160-degree coverage), and two 'toy' lenses – wide (35mm) and telephoto (100mm) optics designed to retain their respective aberrations for emphasis and effect.

Samsung Series 470 250GB 2.5in SSD

Currently available in the usual 64GB (£110), 128GB (£180) and 256GB (£400) capacities, Samsung isn’t going too wild with this one, except for perhaps the chrome and orange finish.

Despite the casual capacities and reasonable pricing, Samsung has sunk a considerable amount into R&D on this one by designing its own controller rather than doing the usual and buying in a SandForce or Marvell part.

It’s called the S3C29RBB01-YK40, and Samsung claims it will allow the 256GB model I have here to read at 250MB/s and write at 220MB/s through its 3Gb/s Sata interface.

The closest rival to Samsung’s new toy is Intel’s 320 series, which is very similarly priced and also features a 3Gb/s Sata interface. Before I get technical with this one, here’s a quick real-world time comparison between the two:

Psyko Carbon 5.1 Headset Review

psyko carbon headset
When Psyko Audio Labs came onto the scene during the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show, they touted new technology that made a lot of people drool with anticipation.  True 5.1 sound in a gaming  headset?  Every other headset for gamers used virtual 5.1 (and later 7.1), where there was still only one (or at max two) speaker driver in each ear cup.  A headset promising five actual speakers, plus two bass drivers seemed like a pipe dream.  Two years later now, and while there are a few other headsets that use five speakers (the Vibras for one), they’re generally uncomfortable, and the drivers are too small to deliver good, solid sound.  So it’s a great relief that Psyko has been able to release their Carbon and Krypton line to show the others how it’s done.

It’s pretty crazy how these things work – Psyko Audio Labs uses what they call “PsykoWave Technology”, to describe how their headsets work.  In short, there are five speakers in the bridge (the top) of the headset, and there are channels (called Wave guides) that directs the sound to both the front and back of each ear – much like you would hear from a normal surround system.  They’ve measured the sound wave output to place each of the speakers at an optimal location, so that you feel like you’re sitting in the “sweet spot” of a really nice home theater system.
psyko carbon headset
Now you may think that with the added weight of five speakers on your head, that this headset might be pretty awkward and uncomfortable to wear, however that’s not completely the case.  Yes, after about a ninety minute gaming marathon my neck was a bit sure from the added weight, but the top of my head felt fine.  In fact, I had completely forgotten I had them on while playing, and only realized the weight when I took a break.  The cushioning they use is extremely comfortable, and put in just the right locations to relieve pressure.  Something else that’s pretty nice is the fact that both ear cups have a clear plastic piece that you can tilt inward, allowing both ventilation (for the heavy sweaters), and the ability to hear someone talking to you without having to adjust the volume.  The Psyko headsets also come with their own little amplifier so that you don’t have to mess with the volume settings on your computer once you get everything set up.
psyko carbon headset
Unfortunately, with all the positives has to come some negatives.  For one, I couldn’t get past the feeling that I was listening to sound through plastic.  I had a friend play a few rounds with them on as well (without telling him anything about the headset), and he said the same thing as well.  There’s almost a hollow property to the sounds you hear with a Psyko headset on – it’s not overbearing, but it’s there.  Another negative is that for now, these are PC only – yes, you can get a surround sound decoder after the fact, but it’s a crap shoot on weather or not you get one that works well with it, and a decent decoder costs around $70.  Also, if you want to use the Psyko headsets on older games, you have to do a fair amount of registry tweaks based on Creative Labs Alchemy.  The last real issue, is the high price point for these things.  The Psyko Krypton (the “budget” model – it used to be referred to as the Psyko 5.1) will run you $149.99, and the Psyko Carbon (Elite model with better speakers, rubberized finish on the amp, braided cables, and gold plated tips) will run you $199.99.
psyko carbon headset
In relation to other headsets at the same price points, there isn’t much competition.  Listening to true 5.1 audio is a much more gratifying experience than listening to virtual 5.1 (or 7.1), hollow sound be damned.  If you have the money, I would just skip over the Krypton – the upgraded speakers on the Carbon more than justify it’s cost increase, and with the rubberized design on the amp, there’s little chance of it slipping off of a desk.  If you don’t have a surround-capable sound card however, these things will be pretty useless to you unless you upgrade that first (no, one that uses an optical cable won’t work – you need to have actual 3.5mm surround jacks)
Overall, I give the Psyko Carbon 5.1 heasdet by Psyko Audio Labs a 4 out of 5 stars – unless you’re a hardcore PC gamer these will be much more of a luxury item.

Coleman Propane Cofee Maker
Gone camping?  That probably means your caffeine fix will have to come by way of a fire, boiling pot of water and scorched hands.  Unless of course you’re willing to plunk down $90 for the Coleman Propane Coffeemaker.  If you haven’t figured it out yet based on the name this thing brews coffee using a built-in propane tank that can produce up to 15 cups.  The coffee maker is good for up to 10 cups in one sitting, so you’ll get 1.5 uses out of the handy tool before you need a propane tank replacement.  Chances are, though, you don’t drink 15 cups in one day, so in theory you should be good for the better part of your camping trip, right?  One 10 cup pot – it’s made of stainless steel -takes 18 minutes to brew, which means by the time the fire gets going and breakfast is cooked your morning joe is waiting for you to be consumed.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide Smartphone Price and Features Announced, Claims to be THE Camera Phone (video

myTouch 4G Slide
T-Mobile announced the myTouch 4G Slide, and they’re billing it as the best smartphone camera on the market. In fact, they’ve even gone as far as to say that it could replace your stand alone point and shoot.  While we doubt the latter statement since it lacks a true flash, it does appear to be a contender to the ultra powerful iPhone 4 camera.

Zero shutter lag.  That means no waiting to snap a pic.  In fact, and after doing a bit of reading on the Net, the myTouch 4G Slide is constantly capturing the image into a cache.  By hitting the dedicated shutter button it pulls the image from the cache associated with the time the shutter button was pressed.  This insures that you can capture 8 megapixel photos consecutively without a missed shot.  Something most smartphones, not even the iPhone can do.  It also boasts an F/2.2, which means it can capture images in low light scenarios.  However, don’t expect it to work in the dark or at the night club, though it does boast a dual-LED flash.  Other camera features include a SweepShot to capture panoramic shots by sweeping across an entire scene in a single motion, and ClearShot HDR, which captures objects in bright settings so your photos are not affected by high-contrast lighting.  Full 1080p video is also part of its arsenal of camera features.

Specs for the phone include a 3.7-inch touchscreen, 4G connectivity, instant photo upload access to Facebook and other photo sharing sites, a full slide out QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.3, a 1.2Ghz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and HTC’s Sense 3.0.

T-Mobile hasn’t said when in July it will go on sale, but we do know that it will cost $199.99 with a $50 mail-in-rebate after selecting a qualifying unlimited data plan.

Xploderz XRanger 2000 Review (video)

XRanger 2000

For the longest time now, if a group of kids wanted to play a game with guns in their backyard the choices of what to use were somewhat limited.  There are B.B. guns, but you’re not supposed to shoot them at people; there’s paintball guns, but in a backyard situation they’re hardly optimal (unless your backyard consists of a few acres of woods) – or there were Nerf (and other dart) guns.  Nerf has been the king of the backyard battleground because of the innovations they’ve shown in the past, and no one has had the chutzpah to challenge them.

Until now.

Enter The Maya Group with their new line of Xploderz guns.  What the Xploderz guns use for ammo in the really revolutionary thing they bring to the table.  The problem with Nerf-style guns, is that unless you’re playing in a totally “sterile” (an arena with white walls and floors) environment, the darts can be a real pain to find.  Usually gaming sessions end up with at least one dart per gun MIA, and the reloading times end up causing an unnatural break in the action.  Xploderz uses water-infused pellets, for ammo that is one-time use.   They call it “H2-Grow”, and in reality the pellets do grow as they absorb water (although the process takes a few hours).  The pellets don’t really absorb enough water to get you wet however, so don’t think this will also work for a squirt gun battle.

Xploderz
You load one of the guns by attaching a clip full of “wet ballz”.  The clip is gravity fed, and when you pull back the plunger, a vacuum piston inside pulls one of the “wet ballz” into the chamber.  That’s one thing I didn’t particularly like on the XRanger 2000, is that you had to pull the knob to reload it after every shot, and where it’s positioned (in front of the trigger) makes it a bit awkward.   The Maya Group claims that the XRanger 2000 can shot up to 85 feet, and in my testing I was able to hit that mark pretty consistently.  I definitely was out ranging my son when he tried to shoot me with his Stampede.

The XRanger 2000 is surprisingly comfortable to use even though it’s fairly large (just a bit bigger than the Nerf Stampede), and it’s pretty light as well (no batteries).  While the gun doesn’t have the power to make the “wet ballz” explode one hundred percent of the time, they don’t hurt when you get hit by one.  Generally though, if the target is within 40 or so feet the ball will explode – power just drops off too much at more distance.

The XRanger 2000 retails for $39.99, and comes with the gun, 2000 dry “wet ballz” (oxymoron?), a removable butt-stock, and a fold a way bipod.  As long as you don’t mind buying new ammo after you run dry (a 500 round pack runs between $5.00 and $5.99 depending on where you shop), the XRanger 2000 is a great gun to add to any collection.  While it may not be ideal for CQB matches, you’ll be able to outdistance your friends in a wide-open setting.

TAG Heuer LINK Smartphone
TAG Heuer is iconic brand that is synonymous with time pieces, but phones, now that’s a different story.  However, the watch manufacturer has plans for a high end, virtually indestructible phone called the LINK.

It will ship with Android 2.2 and sport a 3.5-inch touchscreen covered in that ultra tough Gorilla Glass we saw at CES.  Storage is just 256MBs, but it does ship with an 8GB microSD card, which of course can be upgraded to 32GB if you so choose.  The camera capture 5 megapixel photos and we assume 720p video.

TAG says that the phone is virtually impregnable to water/dust and damage from drops, though we’re skeptical until someone takes this thing to the gun range, or a derivation there of.  You’ll have your choice of finishes, of course depending on what you wanna spend, which includes steel, 18k rose gold, and titanium.  Trim options include leather, rubber, alligator, leather and a variety of other materials.

So what does a phone of this breadth cost?  Well, it starts at 4,700 Euros, and you can bet your ass that doesn’t include the gold finish.

MD GPU will make the "scalar coprocessors"

Current generation GPU architecture is characterized by an orientation toward the realization of a fixed set of functions defined by the DirectX API. Each new generation API, created with the participation of GPU developers, is an evolutionary improvement over its predecessor. It seems that AMD decided to depart from the accepted model, making the GPU architecture more open and universal.

Instead of models "tied up" to support DirectX, the company offers an increase the role of GPU to process data. And to a greater extent that is provided now via GPGPU mechanisms (using GPUs for general-purpose computing). The new approach has been presented at Fusion Developer Summit.

According to AMD, the future architecture GPU will fully support high level programming languages, including C and C + +. Integrated into the APU Fusion the corresponding blocks will be called "scalar coprocessors."

The architecture of the scalar coprocessor will combine the following elements: MIMD (multiple-instruction multiple-data: many streams of commands, many streams of data), SIMD (single-instruction multiple data, a stream of instructions, a lot of data streams) and SMT (simultaneous multithreading). Model VLIW (very long instruction word, a very long machine instruction) which had been used in several generations of AMD GPU's will no longer be there. No doubt that there will still be support of such API, as DirectX and OpenGL. Game developers can use familiar interfaces and C++ support for general applications. Of course, game developers will be able to go beyond what API models can do. Next generation Fusion GPU and CPU components will share a "truly common space of memory addresses."

sony vaio z series
Sony just unveiled the latest range of Vaio laptop, named Series Z, a 13.1-inch notebook that comes with a media dock, exactly how we wanted. The devices from the new range of laptops come with an ultra slim-design, measuring 16.65 mm and weighing only 1.2 kg, almost half the weight of a 15-inch MacBook Pro.

Do not get intimidated by this design, however, under the “hood” of this awesome notebook, lies a real beast. Z Series notebooks come with Intel Core i7, DDR3 SDRAM and storage capacity of up to 256 SSD RAID, plus built-in 3G connectivity on selected models.

The 13.1-inch anti-reflective screen has an impressive 1600×900 pixels resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio, ideal for displaying HD videos. Regarding its Power Media Dock, besides the additional USB ports, VGA and HDMI, it offers faster data transfers through the Light Peak standard, the same standard that Apple calls it Thunderbolt.

Z-series laptops will run on Windows 7 Pro. The launch in Europe is scheduled for late July 2011.

In the same time with the Vaio Z Series, Sony also revealed VAIO Y Series and a small 11.6-inch notebook with an ergonomic touchpad, a battery life of up to six hours and a HMDI port.

iCufflinks
We’ve seen some geeky cufflinks in our time, but none hold a candle to the iCufflinks. They’re finished in aluminum and as you can see are clearly an ode to the Mac computer’s on/off switch.  But that’s not all.  Hidden beneath that cold hard exterior is an LED light that can be programmed to pulsate according to your inner rhythm – it just wouldn’t be a complete package if it didn’t boast this feature.  Surprisingly they’re priced at a reasonable $128.  Did we mention that father’s day is just days away?

USB Thumb Stick Prank
Do you remember that gum that turned your friend’s mouth blue?  It was a harmless prank, which of course now looking back probably wasn’t all that harmless since it probably used a carcinogenic dye.  Fast forward 20 years later to the computer age and you’re working in a bored-to-tears 9 to 5 job.  So what’s one to do?  Exactly what you did years prior, prank the crap out of your co-worker.

The USB Computer Prankster plugs into any free USB port
and plays havoc on your friend (or foes) computer.  You can set it to make the mouse go haywire, permanently engage the caps lock feature and make the keyboard go bananas.  It even features a time delay in the form of a volume wheel, which allows you plant, walk away and then set the attack in motion without being within close proximity to your target’s computer.

Northstar Beer Fridge
Why buy a plain old fridge when you can buy one that dispenses beer?  That’s the first question we pondered once we laid eyes on Northstar’s retro inspired fridges.

They come preinstalled with a Brew Master draft system, including through-the-door tap dispenser, coupler, connections, CO2 cylinder and drip tray.  Just add a keg of your favorite beer, tap and you’ll be able to dispense that foamy, velvety beverage like a true gentleman.  While a peek inside the fridge is no where to be found, at least online, it sounds like there is enough room to store a head of lettuce, or whatever vegetable your body requires to stave off scurvy.

Choose from three models (1950, 1951 and 1952) all starting at $800.

Lark iPhone Sleep Monitor Nudges You Awake, Tracks Your Sleep

Lark Sleep Alarm
A solid nights rest is just as important as the food you eat.  But unlike the food you consciously consume, we unfortunately can’t monitor ourselves when we sleep.  Unless of course you invest in a sleep monitoring apparatus, such as the Lark.

It’s a fabric soft wristband that monitors your sleep activity
and gently vibrates to wake you from you slumber.  The latter feature not only wakes you in a more gradual state, but insures that your companion won’t be disturbed, unlike an audible alarm clock.  The iPhone, like all trendy and cool products, serves as the administration hub to the alarm clock (connects over Bluetooth), and even if your phone dies over night the Lark will still vibrate at the defined time.   Fold into the mix that the Lark can monitor your sleep quality – it tracks how fast you fell asleep, for how long and if you woke up – and you’ve got the whole kit and kaboodle of sleep doctors stuffed into a $189 apparatus.

Xbox 360 Gears of War
It’s probably a safe guess that many of you can’t wait for the next installment of Gears of War 3 to be released on September 20th.  Chances are, though, you already own an Xbox 360. But if some reason you don’t, or need a spiffy upgrade, then you’ll definitely be hip to the Gears of War 3 Xbox 360.  It includes a 320GB hard drive, two wireless controllers, a standard copy of Gears of War 3 the game, a headset, and a download token for bonus game content including the Infected Omen Weapon Pack and the Adam Fenix character for use in multiplayer.  But Microsoft didn’t stop there.  They’ve customized the power and eject buttons with unique sounds from the “Gears of War” universe.  If the $400 price tag is a bit too steep for your wallet, you can also purchase the controllers separately for $60 a pop.

Both the console, game and controllers release on September 20th.

Redbox Launching Video Game Rentals June 17th

Redbox
Redbox already owns over 30% of the DVD rental market and now they’re ready to officially launch into video games.  Starting on June 17,2011 they’ll begin to offer video game rentals at over 21,000 location.  Games will cost $2 a day, which is twice the cost of their DVD rentals and $0.50 more than Blu-rays.

Redbox
began testing video game rentals alongside DVD and Blu-rays this past June at more than 5,000 locations.  They’ll now expand the service to 21,000 locations throughout the US.  Titles for all the major video game consoles, including Xbox 360, Nintendo’s Wii and PS3, will be offered.

Is this launch strategic in terms of timing?  We’d say so since Blockbuster recently filed for bankruptcy and has been shuttering stores ever since.

GAME ON! REDBOX ANNOUNCES IT WILL OFFER VIDEO GAME RENTALS NATIONWIDE THIS JUNE

April 28, 2011 –Redbox, America’s movie rental destination, today announced it will offer video game rentals at more than 21,000 redbox locations nationwide beginning June 17, 2011. Top video games will join new release movies for only $2 a day complementing $1 DVD and $1.50 Blu-ray™ daily rental prices. The announcement follows a test of video game rentals in select U.S. markets that began in August 2009.

Redbox will increase consumers’ access to video game rentals by leveraging our incredible technology and business model to keep rental prices low for consumers,” said Mitch Lowe, president, redbox. “With more than 21,000 redbox locations slated to feature video game rentals alongside movies this June, redbox will be the one-stop shop for entertainment.”

Redbox, a Coinstar, Inc. brand, has tested video game rentals alongside movies at 5,000 redbox locations. “Redbox has rented more than one million video games in less than two years at these locations, underscoring the popularity of video game play in America,” added Lowe.

Today, nearly 64 percent* of people in the United States own a game console.
Upon launch, redbox will feature games across the three major console platforms: PLAYSTATION® 3, Nintendo Wii™ and Xbox 360®. Video game titles will range from top releases to popular family and kids titles.

Redbox will make discovering the latest games as easy as a trip to the local grocery, convenience or drug store,” said Joel Resnik, vice president, games, redbox.
